Terms of Service (TOS)

The Movie Directory website, along with its technology, services and policies, is under continuous development. We maintain the right to update the TOS at any time for any reason without notice. The most recent version will always be available for review at this page.

Movie Directory is in compliance with COPPA as we do not solicit any personal information from people under the age of 13. To use Movie Directory, you must be over the age of 13.

Movie Directory provides users with a rich variety of services and information. You understand and agree that the services and information offered may be accompanied by advertisements that are necessary for Movie Directory to continue to provide the services and information. In addition, third parties will often prepare these advertisements, and Movie Directory may or may not have reviewed the content of such advertisements.

Movie Directory is based in the Greece and adheres to applicable domestic laws including copyright legislation. Movie Directory users in jurisdictions outside of Greece acknowledge that they may have different local copyright restrictions to which they are subject and that they will comply with those restrictions.

You understand that Movie Directory information and services are presented “AS-IS”, and that Movie Directory accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or timeliness of the information and makes no guarantees as to the usefulness of the information or quality or security of the services, though we do respect copyright laws and will remain in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

You understand that any information that you contribute to Movie Directory may in and of itself be a copyrightable work, and that you assign Movie Directory, including any successors or assignees, a worldwide license that is non-exclusive, royalty free and perpetual to distribute, reproduce, derive, adapt or sublicense the information for the life of the copyright.

You understand that any information you contribute may be displayed to other Movie Directory users or licensees and, therefore, warrant that it is your belief that it is true, accurate and legal for us to distribute.

You understand that the Movie Directory directory and tools are widely accessible to the general public, and, therefore warrant that any submissions you make will be free of harmful, defamatory, abusive or harassing language and that the language must not be harmful to minors in any way. You also understand that any information you submit should be free of commercial solicitations.

You agree not to reproduce, resell, trade or exploit for any commercial purposes any information provided by the Movie Directory. This prohibition specifically does not apply to public domain films and works that are accessed through the Movie Directory catalog.

In no event shall Movie Directory, our officers, directors or employees be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Movie Directory Web Site, our services or this Agreement.
